Pipkins is truly coming into her wondrful self. She is so much braver! So willing to be petted and held! She had been so worried about life for some of her kittiehood. But, she is now out and about playing (she just slide on the floor chasing a toy!). She enjoys being held and loves her head petted!
I saw a picture of Kadan & Kubu together with their new mama--it's beautiful and shows they are all 3 very happy!
Ramsay is here beside me at my desk. He seems to be "not himself" the last couple of days. I always worry because we never know fully what severe CH does to a cat's brain. We do know that more than the cerebellum is pocked or effected.
Have you had the pleasure of watching Lucie eat? If any cat gets pleasure from eating, it would be Lucie! Good thing for her bibs!
Callisynne continues to stay in the Main Area! She loves petting. Charmaine still prefers the front Thumper's Room. She seems to have confidence, loves to chirp at us. I think she likes hanging out with Annetta!
Today starts a little of spring work. The refrigerator that has wintered inside of The House that Jonah Built, will go back to the big red barn. We winter it there but otherwise it's used in the barn! The snowblowers will also be put away for the winter. We only needed to use them a couple times.
We are starting a new flea/tick program for all of the outside cats. Within a week they will have their first dose of Bravecto. It's a topical but is good for 3 months. The cost is $32 a dose (10.66 per month). We purchased 40 doses for now--so a whopping bill. But, having to do this in April and then again in July is very welcome by me and the cats. We have to do flea/tick prevention -- it's our responsibility for their health.
Paddy Cake is here on my desk, messing with my paper and a pen. I've noticed this and believe he has written these words---"This is a wonderful day. I have never seen this one before." What a wise boy that Paddy Cake is!
