1,000 spays and neuters!!!  This was our goal for 2018 and we reached it! I am absolutely thrilled!

Yesterday was our HumaneOhio spay/neuter day. We sent up 43 cats which broke down to 15 males and 28 females. Plus we sent 1 female dog.
On 12/4, our total was 970.
We had 5 vouchers to add:  975.
Add on 12/4's 44: 1019!!!!!!!!!!

Plus, we have another surgery for FFRC here on Saturday! Bring on those spay/neuters--we want more!  Hoping we can up this amount even more for 2019.  Just an FYI--the majority of these surgeries are from our Defiance community. But it also includes Paulding and a few surrounding counties.

I had another "walk-about" yesterday and checked out our sheds and shelves and storage areas. Couldn't help but smile and smile.  What a huge sense of relief to have our supplies restocked! 💚

We have some thank yous to get caught up with!

A special thanks to Joey3100 for the regifting of the organ and bench back to FFRC.  This was then purchased by a church for the kids to use!

The Persian babies are growing.  And they are so cute with their fluffy fur when they run all around. They love their Grandpa Bruno.  They also nap with Lancelot.

And let me introduce Lancelot to you! He's a little black kitten born on 8/23/18.  He came here from another rescue at 14 weeks of age. Lancelot has an extreme head tilt--possibly from a polyp or middle ear infection.  He will be looked at by Dr. Darcy on Saturday.  He walks with a head tilt that causes him to go in circles. But....he can get where he wants, can play and find his way to the litterbox! A real sweetie! Right now he's in the back room with the Persians but he had a short visitation in the Main Area this morning.

We had a Quickie Flash Sale on Monday.  We made $1,265 at this sale. This amount will be applied to our need for another order of sedation and anesthetic meds (for our FFRC surgeries). I am so grateful for this help!  Packages from this Flash Sale are almost all sent out already!

A special BOXES today.  We will have BOXES at 3:00, followed by a special Paddy story and a story by IBKCFJJJ (can you guess who this is?!).  We also have another special presentation! Come join the fun.
