We've heard from Tangerine's new dad--he says that Tangerine is doing great!
We also heard from Sara's new family. They love her and say she is doing fabulous. She already loves their family dog!
We've had a message from Nyiko's new family. His name is now Finn. A little shy, but cuddly and very sweet. He is making friends with Dublin.
We have also heard back from Buckeye--he's living the good life as an office cat and looks and sounds like he's thoroughly enjoying his "job"!
We've had 3 more adoptions!
Jandar was adopted 1/28. His new name will be Taffy. We've heard back from his new family too. He's adjusted very quickly. His picture shows a happy kitten in his new home! There's another cat in the home too--another FFRC cat!
Sita was adopted 1/30--she went into a family that has adopted from FFRC before. Her new mom/dad visited several times and Sita made up their minds to which kitten should be adopted---her! She laid in their arms like she knew she would be picked! She will have an FFRC cat to be her friend.
Jondalar was adopted 1/30--such a sweet boy. He went into a home with a dog friend and 3 other cat friends. He has a family that has time for him and will love him! Jondalar sure looked happy with them!
Penny Lane and Tux will be leaving us sometime in Feb.
We have two adults too that will be homed together very soon--Xinzele and Fanta. Both of these adults will enjoy this home. Neither of these cats like to be in real close proximity to other cats and in this home, they will have tons of room to roam and not have to worry about things!

Gee Willikers is adjusting to the fun life quite well here at FFRC. He has also discovered the comfort of cozy beds! It's so sweet to see this boy eating alongside little Tux!
We had a bit of excitement Tuesday late afternoon. That's Steve's and my movie time and I was just letting Lynnette know that I was leaving. Steve was turning the truck around. All I could hear was many very loud, scared and drawn out MEOW'S. Angie M and I ran out to the driveway and motioned for Steve to stop. Sure enough, there was a very big black/white cat in the wheel well--balancing delicately on 2 cables and a rod while the truck was moving. I'm betting someone dropped him off. He's an outside cat, rather timid but loves to have his head rubbed. We will get him caught up on things and then let him be a Porchie. His name is Kumbukani (pronounced come boo connie). I have him down as 14 months old with a birthday of 11/2/18.
I've heard thru the cat-vine that people are worried----------our numbers are low. Yes, this is true but let's celebrate that instead of worrying! That means adoptions are very good. So far this month, we've had 25 adoptions. That is good. We still have a few more we'd love to get adopted before the kitten season arrives. Once kitten season arrives, it makes it very hard for teenagers and adults to get adopted. So........I tell everyone--enjoy this quieter time. It gives us time to catch up on things. To regroup and plan on our 2020 goals. All is good!
My desk buddies are with me--Zelda, Lucy and Magic sleeping on my desk. Ramsay on the upraised bed beside me. Spiker and Janie behind me in beds. Cady and Kiara are above the desk. No other better way to work!
