This weather is a bit strange. I actually saw cats rolling on the sidewalks in the sideshine yesterday. I'll take this warmer weather, for sure--it's easier on the heating gas bills for the Rescue Center!
We have taken on 3 new cats--
Gee Willikers--a handsome brown tiger and white cat. He was brought by 2 sister friends of FFRC. He looks alot like Gyovannah, except Gee Willikers has a white fur collar! He is 14 months old, arrived 1/24/20. His birthday is 11/14/19. He's a big boy--9 1/2 pounds. And pure sweetness. He discovered the fun of catnip toys. He will roll on those toys for a very long time, thoroughly enjoying this!
Nyiko--a sweet all black kitten of 19 weeks. His birthday is 9/13/19 and he arrived 1/24/20. He appeared at someone's door and wanted inside NOW. He's a purrbox and a big kneader of his paws. Check below--already adopted! He was already neutered, has all of his preliminary medical care don.)
Buckeye--a super handsome orange/white boy. He was brought in by a volunteer who became quite smitten with him! He was already neutered. Buckeye arrived 1/24 and his birthday is 1/4/19---just a year old. Check below--already adopted! He too has all of his preliminary medical care done.

Jan. 25--Tangerine went to his new home--a gorgeous orange/white kitten
Jan. 25--Nyiko went to his new home--not here very long!
Jan. 26--Buckeye adopted--to be a mascot for a business--perfect personality for this!

Feb. 8 and 9 is the annual cat show at the Lucas County Rec Center, Toledo, Ohio. There will be up to 400 cats in competition in 12 rings. Many vendors of cat-themed items will be on site. Public is welcome to attend!
