Where did this month go?  Oh......I know---feeding kittens and cats.  Doing treatments, checking in more kittens and cats, adoptions, welcoming visitors, scooping boxes, doing the daily mountain of laundry---and the list goes on and on. Oh......and giving chickie treats to everyone!  And we all love every minute of it!

We have had two more adoptions.
Gretl went to her new home! Happy happy kitten and happy new mama. Her mom already sent an email--"She is a real sweetheart and I am so happy to have the opportunity to give her, her forever home!"

Jefferson went to his new home yesterday. He's going into a home with 2 dogs and another cat. I believe he will just slide right into his new home without a problem!

And now.......Spiker is back at FFRC.  The couple that had adopted him made the very long drive back to FFRC to return him. I respect their decision and understand. They did the right thing to return him.  It appears that Spiker wasn't happy and the resident cats were not happy.  Spiker came back and joined right in, just like always. He cruised about, checked everything out and then napped in his pool and poof.  While we hope to find the perfect home the first time for out cats and kittens, sometimes they have a "practice session".

We had BOXES Weds. night! We sure love these boxes and appreciate the support.

Remember our kitten Sergei?  His family sent an email--Sergei continues to be an amazing member of the family. He and his kitty brother enjoy wrestling and cuddling. He loves to greet visitors at the door and everyone who meets him loves him. He's a great ambassador for tri-pods and takes every opportunity to show off how fast he can run and how high he can jump.

We've also heard from the lady who adopted Denise. All is well. I believe Denise makes her mama happy and the new mama makes Denise happy. Just as it should be!

And we have more thanks to give---so grateful!

Are you coming to Catstock?  Here's another treat for you!  Munchkinljs/Lisa S and her hubby will be bringing their guitars and giving us a few songs Friday night, plus a special song for everybody!

We also took on 2 new kittens. They appear to be brother/sister.  These two kittens were found together on a highway.  They came in with some problems.  Both have an URI, a few fleas, big tummies (wormy) and gunkie eyes.  They have been on antibiotics now for two doses and already look so much better. Their bath also cleaned them up beautifully. They are feeling much better this morning and ready to play!  Their birthday is 7/1/17.
Claude--black and white, male, he has a tail that was injured and part of it simply has fallen off. This will no doubt require surgery to close the end properly.
Cupid--white with 3 grey/black splotches on the forehead, female

The kittens are full of energy here--crazy silly with playing! The cats are wonderful too. All are healthy, although little Lloyd has a bit of a cold. He's on antibiotics.  Little LJ loves to cuddle with the bear and big doggie toy. Julianne and Nsuku are both getting a bit braver, especially Nsuku.  We will probably bring them up to the Cat's Corner Room before too long.

LJ, Katmandu, Florence and Laverne are already up and about in the Main Area and have now spent two nights in the front.

Take care and have a wonderful day. The cats are busy making friends with each other!
